What's New in the Coming 2025 Ford Expedition?

The 2025 Ford Expedition will have new headlights and taillights, a restyled grille and wheel designs that update the appearance. The 2025 Expedition will offer Dawsonville buyers a new two-piece opening with both an upper liftgate and a lower tailgate. Inside the cabin you'll find a new bi-level screen arrangement. A large infotainment display will be mounted in the center and a wider unit above shows gauges and other information. The 2024 off-road-ready Expedition Timberline trim will be replaced with a Temor model that has similar off-road capabilities.

The Engine and Performance

The 2025 Ford Expedition will be powered by a turbocharged 3.6-liter V6 and the standard version will generate 400 horsepower. The Expedition will also have a higher -output variation with 440 horsepower. Every new 2025 Ford Expedition will be equipped with an independent rear suspension that helps provide a well-cushioned, comfortable ride. The new off-road-capable Tremor model will have a slightly raised suspension, underbody skid plate protection and 18-inch wheels with 33-inch all-terrain tires.

The Tremor will give Blue Ridge drivers a special Rock Crawl driving mode and a cruise control system that helps you maintain a safe speed on steep hill descents. The Tremor will also have a Trail Turn Assist that helps swing the rear end in the right direction when you're navigating a tight turn. The system can apply the brakes to the inside rear wheel in low-speed turns when you're in four-wheel drive mode.

Interior Highlights

The 2025 Ford Expedition will once again have seating for a family of eight across three rows. You'll be surrounded by a huge interior that provides a comfortable place for the family on longer road trips. Second-row captain's chairs will be offered for extra comfort on vacation drives away from your home in North Georgia. Unlike other full-size SUVs, the standard Expedition and the long wheelbase Expedition MAX are both built with third rows that have enough space for adults. Every model will have a power-folding third row that can be controlled from the cargo area or the back seats. The second and third rows can both be folded completely flat to give you a level floor so it's easier to load cargo.

Technology

The 2025 Ford Expedition will offer Jasper and Canton drivers an enormous 24-inch dashboard display that contains both a large digital gauge cluster and an infotainment screen. A separate smaller display will be positioned closer to the driver and the front passenger, giving you both easy access to the infotainment system.
